Otrivine Blocked Nose Relief Nasal Spray can be used by adults and adolescents 12 years and older, for the relief of nasal congestion due to colds, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis, sinusitis.

It delivers an exact dose of medicated spray inside the nose, and provides up to 10 hours of relief in as little as 2 minutes.

It contains the active ingredient xylometazoline hydrochloride that helps to open up and clear nasal passages by reducing nasal mucus and returning swollen blood vessels to their normal size.

Xylometazoline, also spelled xylomethazoline, is a medication used to reduce symptoms of nasal congestion, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis. Use is not recommended for more than seven days. Use is also not recommended in those less than three months of age and some say not less than 6 years of age. It is used directly in the nose as a spray or drops.
